Bought their cooking oil (coconut oil), paruppu podi and Vadagam. Vadagam and vathals are very yummy. I have tried in other places where Usually the vathal and vadagam are too salty but Akshaya herbals products are nice. I would order again n again.

What makes Akshaya oils different from supermarket oils?
Our oils are wood pressed on a traditional marachekku — a slow, low-temperature wooden press we have run since 2008. Nothing is heated, bleached, deodorised or chemically extracted, so the natural aroma, colour and goodness of the seed stay in the bottle.
That also means our oils behave differently from refined ones: they smell like the seed they came from, and a little natural sediment settling at the bottom is completely normal.
Are your products really free of preservatives and chemicals?
Yes. We add no artificial preservatives, colours, flavours or anti-caking agents to any of our oils, podis or masalas. Every batch is made fresh in small quantities and packed the same way we would for our own kitchen.
How should I store the oils, podis and masalas?
Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and always close the lid tightly. Use a clean, completely dry spoon each time — moisture is the main reason a natural podi or masala spoils early.
Wood pressed coconut oil may thicken or solidify in cooler weather. That is natural and it returns to liquid on its own at room temperature.
How long do the products stay fresh?
The best-before date is printed on every pack. Because we use no preservatives, we recommend finishing masalas and podis within the printed period and keeping them airtight throughout.
Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?
We dispatch from Salem, Tamil Nadu and ship across India. Orders are usually packed within 1–2 working days; delivery time after that depends on your pin code and the courier serving it.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a single, continuous unboxing video that clearly shows the shipping label and the sealed package being opened — this is required for every exchange claim. Raise the request within 2 days of delivery and share the video with us.
